The IIFMlibrary is one of the best libraries in the country in the area of forest management and environment. It has an excellent collection of Indian and foreign journals. The library subscribes to a total of 250 journals out of which 150 are of foreign origin. The library has a collection of over 25000 books, which have been referenced in a computerized catalog. The Library runs a Online Public Access Catalog for the academic community which is accessible through the IIFM intranet. The library is in the process of being fully computerized in order to facilitate computerized issues and returns using barcodes.
