The Director of the
Institute, as its executive head, supervises the activities of the faculty and the
administration. The Institute prides itself in having a multi-disciplinary faculty which
is a mix of academicians and practising forest officers in the following eight faculty
areas
- Communication and Extension Management
- Ecosystem and Environment Management
- Environment and Developmental Economics
- Financial Management
- Human Resource Management
- Information Technology and Quantitative Techniques
- Marketing Management
- Sociology and Community Development
- Technical Forestry
The administrative support system consists of
the Administrative Officer, Finance Officer, Assistant Administrative Officer, Assistant
Librarian, and Assistant Managers who look after Academic Activities, Academic Services,
Administrative matters, Maintenance, and Horticulture.
